Use Of tert-Butanol:

Used as a solvent for industrial detergents, as a drug extractant, as a killer, as a solvent for waxes, as a solvent for cellulose esters, plastics and paints. Also used in the manufacture of denatured alcohol, spices, fruit essence, isobutylene and the like.
