Description
Bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate
Dioctyl adipate is an excellent cold-resistant plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, which imparts excellent low-temperature flexibility to the product, and has certain light, thermal stability and water resistance. Dioctyl adipate is non-toxic and can be used in food packaging materials. The pressed and calendered product of dioctyl adipate exhibits excellent lubricating properties at the time of production, and the product feels good. In the plastisol, the initial viscosity is low and the viscosity stability is good. DOA is usually used with plasticizers such as DOP and used in cold-resistant agricultural films, electric wires, book boards, artificial leather, outdoor water pipes, and packaging films for frozen foods. DOA can also be used as a plasticizer for many low temperature plasticizers containing rubber and resins such as nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose.
