Dibutyl phthalate

Dibutyl phthalate is the most commonly used plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, which makes the product have good flexibility, but has high volatility and water extraction, and thus has poor durability. Dibutyl phthalate is an excellent plasticizer for nitrocellulose and has a strong gelling ability. It is used in nitrocellulose coatings and has a good softening effect.
